Located at the head office in Kathmandu, FBPWN's Polytechnic offers professional and skill oriented training to educated and job needy women. The training curriculums are designed to enhance the skills of job seeking and self employed women, with the goal of increasing women's participation in the job market.


     The secretarial training programme is designed to give students the necessary confidence, business skills and professional knowledge required in today's modern business office. Students are given computer training in current business word processing and data spread sheet software, accounting, English and Nepali typing/keyboarding, public speaking, and conversational and business English. The course also includes a work experience component, allowing students to apply their skills to a professional setting.

he Marketing Training was designed to encourage more women to pursue careers in business, advertising and promotion, retail management, financial services and NGO management. Topics covered include advertising, selling techniques, conversational English, communication, gender and development, community development, NGO management and basic marketing principles. Trainees are also given instruction using current computer software and a work experience component allows the trainee to apply their skills to a practical situation.
     
Currently there are two types of marketing training being offered. Professional Marketing Training is a six month course designed to introduce basic marketing techniques to women interested in entering the marketing field. Intensive Marketing Training, a four week course, is targeted to women who are currently working in business or in a non-government organization.
