Jointly
conducted with the Nepal University Women's Association through the Five-O
Project, this training is offered to young poor girls working as housemaids
with an objective to support them to be literate and self reliant.
FBPWN
periodically organizes workshops on women's issues, such as health, education,
employment and leadership development.
Day
care centres have been established by FBPWN chapters at four industrial
districts to assist women in retaining their jobs after the birth of their
children. The day care centres also offer classes and training to mothers
on topics related to child care, environmental stewardship, sanitation,
nutrition and family planning.
Offered
through the chapters, the micro-credit programme trains women on credit
utilization and mobilization. |
