BIM Program's Mission & Objective

The mission of Faculty of Management's Bachelor in Information Management (BIM) program is to develop socially responsible, scientific approached, result oriented information technology (IT) professionals. The BIM program is designed to equip graduates with the skills and attributes required to be effective and efficient information technology professionals.

Overview:
      This course on SQL Server 2000 Adminitration Will allow the students to identify and configure all major aspects of a MIcrosoft SQL Server 2000 RDBMS. The course will involve a terminology guide; key features of SQL Server; a comprehensive guide to the SQL Server tools, including Enterprise Manager and Query Analyser; and database implementation basics, with an introduction to T-SQL and data integrity. Overview:

      This course introduces programmers to Java programming techniques.       This course on Windows 2000 administration will enable students to perform administration of Windows 2000 Server and Professional.       This course covers programming for the Windows system environment using current Microsoft tools and technologies, including MFC and the Win32 SDK. Focusing on sophisticated design issues within the context of the Windows 2000 and Windows 98 operating systems, the course emphasizes inter-process communication and synchronization techniques as well as explaining advanced memory management, file handling and serialization, multi-threaded processes, and various network communication techniques such as TCP/IP and UDP sockets.
